Lover Stalker Killer Review

Squirrel friends, let me spill the tea on this mind-bending crime documentary. “Lover, Stalker, Killer” takes us on a wild ride – think rollercoaster meets labyrinth! And where does all this drama unfold? Omaha, 2012. The twists? Oh, they’re like pretzels on steroids. By the end, I was speechless, like I’d just witnessed an inception within an inception. So, grab your popcorn, dim the lights, and dive into this jaw-dropping tale!

So, picture this: Dave Kroup, a mechanic, dives into the murky waters of online dating (swipe right, anyone?). He meets a woman, Shanna “Lyzz” Goylar, and sparks fly – but hold up, he’s not here for a commitment. Fresh out of a breakup with Amy Flora (the mother of his kids), Dave’s got baggage and he’s on the prowl.

Dave is still swiping right and finds Cari Farver on another dating app. He and Cari keep the flame alive – they’re practically joined at the hip since she works nearby. Then one night, they’re chilling at Dave’s apartment. After a while, Lyzz (yes, the same Lyzz from our previous saga) pops up unannounced.  She claims she left something behind, but it’s all very cloak-and-dagger.

But then, out of the blue, Cari drops a bombshell: “Hey, Dave, wanna move in together?” Seriously, after two weeks of knowing someone, who does that? Dave’s like, “Nah, fam,” and declines.

Here comes the drama tsunami! Cari goes full-on text bomb mode. For weeks, it’s a nonstop barrage of messages – think fireworks on New Year’s Eve. She morphs into “Alex Forest” (cue dramatic music) after Dave rejects her request to move in. If you’re scratching your head, don’t worry – watch “Fatal Attraction,” and you’ll get the vibe.

And then, just when you thought it couldn’t get crazier, Cari cranks up the heat. She swoops in, grabs her stuff from Dave’s place, and vanishes into thin air. A few days later, the texts resurrect like zombies in a horror flick. Cari’s on a rampage – harassing, threatening, and spewing all her pent-up rage.

Honestly, this whole saga is like a soap opera on steroids. Stay tuned for the next episode of “Texts Gone Wild”!  So, Cari’s mom, Nancy Raney, spills the tea: all she knows is that Cari’s dating some man, and then poof, she vanishes like a magician’s assistant. But Nancy’s Spidey senses start tingling – something’s off. Eventually, she files a missing person’s report, and the search party zeroes in on Dave.

Dave shares the text messages with the officers; they see Cari’s been on a texting rampage. The cops assure Dave that the storm will eventually calm. But wait, there’s more! Now Nancy’s getting Facebook messages – because apparently, drama loves social media. Cari texts her on Mother’s Day (talk about timing), and then poof – ghosted!

And just when you thought it couldn’t get crazier, Lyzz rolls up to Dave’s home to show him the new key scratched design on her vehicle. But guess what? Cari’s not done. She’s now texting Lyzz, admitting that she’s the key master. Now Dave it like geez! I have to protect her.

Honestly, after weeks of this chaos; Cari’s officially in the “unhinged” category. Love can be wild, but this? Extreme makeover: relationship edition! So, now the police – ever the skeptics – continue to brushed off Cari’s emails and texts as mere jealous-girlfriend rants. But boy, were they in for a surprise! Dave’s phone starts buzzing with messages from Cari, and she’s pulling a Martha (yes, that Martha – if you know, you know).

Cari’s gone full-on stalker mode. She’s snapping pics of Dave’s customers at his place of business. The police catch on – they know she’s lurking nearby. So, they stake out his work site, and scan the area, hoping to spot her. The police begin showing Cari’s pics around, hoping for a hit – but nada. And then, out of the blue, Cari texts him an address. Guess where? In the same complex as Dave! However, the building she claims to be in?  Nonexistent.

The next day, Dave’s gets another text notification – it’s a pic taken by Cari in Lyzz’s home. But hold onto your sanity, because Lyzz’s place is now a graffiti canvas, courtesy of Cari. Derogatory words galore!

And just when you thought it was safe to check your texts, boom! More bombs drop. Dave’s in full-on protective bear mode now – he’s gotta shield this woman from the chaos. Are you ready for this twisted tale to take a nosedive into the abyss?

Cari’s relentless harassment spans four years, and guess who’s the bullseye? Lyzz – for reasons only the universe knows. Amy, Dave’s ex-girlfriend, takes one look at this chaos and goes, “Nuts, right?” She ensures Dave visits the kids at her place – safety first!
But Cari? Oh, she’s not playing nice. She torches Lyzz’s house (pets included, because why not?). Dave’s had enough; he teams up with the Omaha Police Department. Now, the cops have their Sherlock hats on. They’ve got evidence, probable cause, and a warrant with Cari’s name on it. She’s a menace, and they’re ready to pounce. But where’s she hiding?

Fast forward to January 13th – jackpot! They find Cari’s getaway car. One fingerprint inside, but it’s a ghost – no match in the system. And now, police are like, hmm, let's check out Lyzz.  The grand reveal: Lyzz’s phone spills the beans. Pics of Cari, including her favorite cars (taken while they were MIA). But hold onto your sanity, because Lyzz tries to now frame Amy as a harasser.

But wait for it… the pièce de résistance: Lyzz’s tablet holds a secret – a memory disk. And what’s on it? Cari’s lifeless body. Cari was dead the whole time! It turns out, Lyzz was the puppet master all along, pulling the strings and sending those spine-chilling messages.
Shanna “Lyzz” Goylar was arrested and sentenced; first-degree murder and arson. She received a lifetime membership in prison and became a part of “No Parole” club.

I give this documentary 5 out of 5 acorns.
